Treatment of bacterial diseases susceptible to oxytetracycline A. Trout (Salmonidae): gill erosion disease, vibrio disease, aeromonas salmonicida, ulcer disease, bacterial hemorrhagic sepsis, pseudomonas disease B. Carp: vibrio disease, pine cone disease C. Usage / dosage
A. When administered orally (mixed with feed)
1. Trout
- Gill erosion disease: 165g of this agent/body weight of fish, ton/day (82.7g as oxytetracycline) shall be administered for 10 days
- Vibrio disease: 20~100g of this agent/body weight of fish, ton/day (10~50 g as oxytetracycline) shall be administered for 3 to 7 days
- Aeromonas salmonicida, ulcer disease, bacterial hemorrhagic pulmonary sepsis, pseudomonas disease: 110-165g of this agent/body weight of fish, ton/day (55.1-82.7g as oxytetracycline) shall be administered for 10 days
2. Carp
- Vibrio disease: 20~100g of this agent/body weight of fish, ton/day (10~50 g as oxytetracycline) shall be administered for 3 to 7 days
- Pine cone disease: 100-200g of this agent/body weight of fish, ton/day (50-100g as oxytetracycline) shall be administered for 5 days
3. Japanese amberjack
- Pasteurellosis: 60 to 140g of this agent/body weight of fish, ton/day (30 to 70 g as oxytetracycline) shall be administered for 5 days
4. Catfish
- Bacterial hemorrhagic sepsis, pseudomonas disease: 110 to 165g of this agent/body weight of fish, ton/day (55.1 to 82.7g as oxytetracyl) shall be administered for 10 days.
5. Eel
- Fin disease: 20~100g of this agent/body weight of fish, ton/day (10 ~ 50g as oxytetracycline) shall be administered for 3~7 days
6. Red sea-bream
- Vibrio disease: 20~100g of this agent/body weight of fish, ton/day (10~50 g as oxytetracycline) shall be administered for 3 to 7 days
B. Medicated bath
1. Red sea-bream
- Vibrio disease: 50g of this agent/body weight of fish, ton/day (25g as oxytetracycline) shall be administered for 30 to 60 minutes.
Withdrawal period
Trout - 30 days
Carp - 25 days
Japanese amberjack - 20 days
Catfish - 30 days
Eel - 30 days
Red sea-bream - 20 days (5 days in the case of medicated bathing)
